It can happen to anyone due to unexpected circumstances, but no owner wants their pet(s) to suffer because resources and/or medical care are out of reach. We may be able to help or direct you to additional resources!
Helping Hands for Pets (HH4P) is dedicated to providing qualified pet owners in the west central Wisconsin counties of St. Croix, Polk, Pierce, and Dunn with basic financial assistance to keep a pet in its home rather than being surrendered to a shelter or euthanized due to financial limitations. Our General Assistance Program may provide assistance for basic needs for medical care. You may be asked to contribute a percentage of the assistance requested.
All assistance depends on funds available.

DownloadHelping Hands for Pets (HH4P) is also committed to the prevention of pet overpopulation in west central Wisconsin counties of St. Croix, Polk, Pierce, and Dunn. We believe spay/neuter is critical if we are to reach a day when there are no more homeless pets. You can do your part to support this belief by having your pet spayed/neutered. This assistance program has been created for responsible pet owners and caretakers with genuine need, and who may not otherwise be able to afford to have a pet spayed/neutered.
HH4P works with a network of local veterinarians to provide reduced fee spay/neuters. Donations and memberships are used to fund the HH4P Spay/Neuter Program! If you would like more information or have a question, please contact us at info@helpinghands4pets.org .
Upon receipt of the application, you will be contacted to discuss your situation in order to determine qualification. You will be asked to contribute a minimum amount per spay/neuter. The remaining balance plus the cost of a rabies vaccination will be covered by HH4P. You will be responsible for the cost of any additional vaccinations, tests or other procedures you request from the vet. Cats may not be declawed in conjunction with this program.
